Writer's Statement
I wrote Locos por Messi several years before the 2026 World Cup.
My intention was never to write a football film, but a story about childhood friendship, obsession and the impossible dreams that define growing up.
Today, generative AI allows independent filmmakers to visualize projects that otherwise would remain on paper. This teaser is not the film—it's an invitation to imagine it.
